The sorry case of Kings XI

Yet another blog, and yet another expert on cricket...What a pain in a**. Let me clarify few things upfront, If you can bear Carbon kamaal catch, and DLF maximum, this blog is nothing believe me it's nothing compared to that.
I was thinking of this since long but blame it on my already tired fingers and your good luck it never happened.. But yesterday night I went through an ordeal..I pulled my hair, kicked myself and then got my Eureka moment..Enough of how and why let's come back to the yesterday's match between Kings XI and KKR.
I think both the teams are trying their best to be at the bottom, but oh..dada you missed it here. Had you continued till the end this would have been achieved.
I agree that it's IPL and Indian players should take the center stage, but not at the cost of loosing the match..Only Ganguly can explain the reason behind holding David Hussey and Matthews back..What a master piece..But hold on Sanga was equal to the task..How can someone explain Yuvraj fielding at boundary and Brett lee at Midoff, although Lee hold a blinder, but it was fun to watch yuvraj chasing the ball...Why Yuvraj was no used as a bowling option..another mystery..??
In T20 format the captain needs to be on toes, look at Kumble or Warne for that matter. Sanga was uninspiring behind the stumps and was sluggish. Oh and yes i forgot the mystery around Irfan pathan..He seems to be following in vekatesh prasad's step.. I think he will start spin bowling in some time, at least he will save some energy to run few extra yards while fielding and batting. The choice of International players is also very surprising for Kings XI, Mahela is a great batsman but unfit for this format. It's a cruel game and can dent your reputation/ego/self belief badly. The cardinal sin which Sanga did was to get Ganguly out...How can you get him out.. :).
For me that was City moment of unsuccess...

1. So long as Ganguly bats in the Top 5 any team, has got a chance by not getting him out. I remember one comment from siddhu when he was asked where do you think ganguly should bat..and the answer was number 14.
2. Srilanka should start thinking about next T20 world cup. I will be surprised if they even qualify for Semis this time around with Sanga and Jaya in their top 5 batsmen..They will neither score not let anyone score. Ravi shastri dilemma of the Indian team of 90's
3. Dinda will be in playing XI of KKR, as long as Ganguly is captain, He makes Ganguly look like Jonty rhodes, when you compare the two.
